Recently I completed an article on the Best Curacao Beaches in collaboration with ‘GettingStamped.com.’ While I recommend that you check out the full article on their website, here are some highlights. Continue reading
NOLA (New Orleans) planning was an important part of our 13 state 4 month trip. While planning, I learned that NOLA can be quite expensive. I checked out hotels on Booking.com, Airbnb, and checked RV campground prices (since we now have an RV). Compared to the other cities we visited, New Orleans accommodations looked to be more than twice as expensive. In addition to lodging, there are tours to see everything you can imagine in NOLA; at first glance, it looks like everything one might want to see costs money. While you could spend a fortune, there are many ways to see NOLA without spending a lot. Continue reading

Visit Nashville – Have you ever been?
Nashville was never high on my list since I am not a country music fan and there are definitely many things to do in downtown Nashville and neighborhoods. I enjoyed it and learned a lot about music history. It was interesting and fun to visit Nashville, and it’s not just country music. It’s blues, gospel, christian music, rock and roll, soul, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, rock, classical and more. The city has great:
- Art collections
- Beautiful parks
- Lovely waterways
I recommend a visit to Nashville and Continue reading
Last year I wrote a post about the great opportunities for fun and entertainment in Bucks County. Since people have been asking me about events and concerts, as well as timing, see my post with more information about some of the venues listed below.
While Tom and I love to travel in the winter, we absolutely love living in Bucks County in the summer! Actually the spring and fall are gorgeous too.
I call Bucks County ‘Eye Candy,’ especially for those who love nature. Solebury Township, where we live, also known as New Hope, is among the townships with the highest percentage of preserved land, so it is very green – filled with tree farms and horse farms.
We have a lake too – you can see it in the photos in my 2015 post.
Bucks County Outdoor Summer Activities
Bucks County is quite large, with many towns, and there are lots of great outdoor activities throughout the summer. You can stay busy all summer without Continue reading
Tom and I love living in Bucks County, PA, with the natural beauty. The area is rife with art, cultural, and great food. We have great Adventures in Bucks County to share. The summers are just wonderful with many free outdoor events. We take advantage of outdoor and indoor concerts in the afternoons and evenings. Reasonably priced venues at $5-$20 for professional and Broadway-type productions are great cultural activities. There are at least 5 venues weekly within 10 miles of our home.
During the summer many venues offer free music from Continue reading
