I did not realize that you lived there. And yes, the Inside Passage is quite far from the Kenai Peninsula. We did get to Juneau; we were stuck there for 2.5 weeks due to the ferry strike. It forced us to see more than we would have otherwise, and we loved Juneau too. I hope you have a chance to go back and explore the Kenai and Denali in more depth.

I was working in SE – Juneau and Ketchikan – which are a world away from Kenai. Did get to Denali briefly and Seward but it rained horribly!!

I know you’ve taken lots of US road trips. This is definitely one for the books! If you can take several months to do it, that’s the best way to see it all since it’s so spread out and remote. You could fly from Hawaii and rent a RV in Anchorage. But traveling through BC and the Yukon is breathtaking too. Happy to to help if you want some suggestions.
