A top spot on my Ecuador Bucket List was our Quilotoa Loop Adventure. The draw was the many colorful indigenous populations and their markets, the perfect turquoise blue Quilotoa Lake, the art of the Tigua people, and the surrounding snow-capped Andean volcanoes. Get the picture? Here are a few.

Nashville was never high on my list since I am not a country music fan. However, I enjoyed it and learned a lot about music history. It was interesting and fun to visit Nashville, and it’s not just country music. It’s blues, gospel, christian music, rock and roll, soul, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, hip-hop, rock, classical and more. Tom and I spent 2 months in 2015-2016 traveling the small but diverse country of Ecuador. On Tuesday of this week, as I was leaving the gym, a woman from my dance class asked, “Why did you choose Ecuador? It is an unusual choice.”
We loved the variety of experiences and enjoyed many of the local people we met in Ecuador.
Tom and I love living in Bucks County, PA, with the natural beauty in an area rife with art, cultural, food, we have great Adventures in Bucks County to share. The summers are just wonderful here with many free outdoor events. We have been taking advantage of outdoor and indoor concerts in the afternoons and evenings, plus going to reasonably priced venues – $5, $10, $20 for professional and Broadway-type productions. We can find at least 5-10 venues weekly within 10 miles of our home.
